Who Are We?

SIC Mission Statement:

Stavanger International Church is an ecumenical and intercultural community of faith using English as our common language. Through worship, study, fellowship and service, we seek to know and serve the living Christ, and to encourage others to join us in the journey of Christian discipleship.

Vision for Stavanger International Church (SIC):

We want our Church to be:

• Guided by ecumenical and historical confessions/creeds built on The Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.
• Be open to a variety of Christian expressions of faith and practice in order to develop solid Christian discipleship among its members.
• Be concerned with and involved with mission in Stavanger and around the globe.

To achieve our vision we are moving forward to implement a Small Group based Church model (also called Cell Church).
