Church is not a building! The essence of church is expressed when two, three or more people are gathered around Jesus, “the Fire”. In Stavanger International Church (SIC) the weekly Sunday worship service is like a “Bonfire”.

But we also meet regularly at the “Campfire”, when groups of different shape and size meet across the city. We have named them Growth Groups because of their importance for spiritual growth through mutual support and accountability, and because of their aim to grow in number and multiply.

We encourage you to find your “place around the Fire”, both on Sundays and during the week in one of our Growth Groups!
